Klopstock

Cafe & Bar

Zurich

Year: 2024
Assignment: Interior Design, concept refinement, execution planning, design site supervision

Client: De Capitani Immobilien

A publicly accessible café was created on the ground floor of the new building on Klopstockstrasse, mediating between architecture and the urban context. The space strengthens the connection to the neighbourhood and contributes to the building’s social and atmospheric quality.

Based on a graphic concept provided by the client, an interior design approach was developed that integrates colour and material choices, lighting, and spatial organisation. Dark tones, wooden surfaces, and exposed concrete elements define the overall atmosphere.

Precisely fitted elements such as the counter, seating niches, and shelving offer both functionality and spatial quality. Generous glazing and level transitions create a seamless flow between the interior and the adjoining terrace.
