Ghost Kitchen

Samedan

Year: 2023
Assignment: concept, tendering and execution planning, construction management
Client: Plan-B Kitchen AG

In the industrial district of Samedan, a former storage space was converted into a functional production kitchen with an integrated take-away area. The facility now serves as a central ghost kitchen for the client’s catering operations, focused on food preparation and delivery. The kitchen is complemented by a publicly accessible customer area with seating.

The clearly structured layout includes not only the kitchen and service counter, but also changing rooms, sanitary facilities, storage areas, and a laundry room. Durable materials and well-organized workflows ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

The take-away area forms the design focal point of the project: a clear spatial organization, bold color scheme, and integrated waste station define a distinctive, user-friendly zone. The design supports intuitive orientation, enables efficient service, and creates a welcoming atmosphere for customers.

Both the interior and the newly redesigned façade reflect the client’s corporate design, resulting in a cohesive overall appearance with strong brand recognition.
